Meet The Staff

Get to Know the Staff of Ajay R. Patel, DDS, ABOMS

Lourdes  started with our practice over 10 years ago as one of our highly qualified surgical assistants. In July of 2025, she was promoted to Office Manager following Helen’s retirement.  Over the years, and with Helen’s guidance, she has gained the expertise needed to take over the complex role of office manager.  With her RDA qualifications and her knowledge of front office duties, she is a perfect fit to lead our office. She enjoys working with patients and educating them on various surgical procedures, including dental implants.  Lourdes is bi-lingual and fluent in Spanish. 

Linda is the treatment coordinator and financial assistant for both of our offices.  She has been with the practice since 1997.  Linda always greets our patient’s with a warm and welcoming smile.  She verifies your dental benefits and coverage.  She has over 25 years of experience in the dental field having started as a registered dental assistant after graduating with honors from San Joaquin Valley College.  Prior to entering the dental industry, Linda spent sixteen years in the Chowchilla Elementary School District.  She enjoys quilting and is a member of the Gateway Quilt Guild.

Sofia is our senior surgical assistant and has been in the dental industry for over 5 years. She prides herself on making sure our patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She is very patient and enjoys educating our patients and their families to help them understand what to expect during any procedure. She realizes many of our patients may have had prior trauma and are nervous and anxious. She takes her time answering any question to help alleviate their anxiety. She enjoys getting to know our patients and loves to build connections with them so that they feel  reassured. Outside of work, she loves going on hikes and exploring, but especially loves spending time with her family.
